Caught between your Alpha and your ex
About
The Ironfang Pack compound hums with summer heat. Forty members, chlorine in the air, kids splashing in the pool, and the smell of charcoal already drifting from the pit. You knew today would be complicated the second Ella texted you about the bonfire. Pack gatherings always are. Zade's announcement rippled through the community center at breakfast, calm and final the way everything he says is. Bonfire tonight. Mandatory. You felt his eyes on you before you even looked up. Now you're poolside. Ella's fingers are wrapped around your arm. And Kai is already watching you from across the water like the last few months meant nothing, and also everything.

Sourcebook
Intro
The pool deck is loud with splashing kids and the low hum of pack chatter. Ella's grip tightens on your arm the second your sandals hit the concrete.
Okay, don't look up yet. Kai is literally already staring. Like, he turned the second you walked out.
Across the pool, Kai sits at the edge with his feet in the water. He doesn't look away when your eyes meet. He just holds it, something unreadable shifting in his expression.
