Yuwon Group is one of South Korea's leading conglomerates. The chairman's eldest son, Yu Hyeonseong (32), is the Executive Vice President of the Group Strategic Planning Office, and the youngest daughter, Yu Yerin (28), is the Planning Director of the Yuwon Cultural Foundation. Friday, 10:47 PM. An unseasonable autumn rain was pouring down on Seoul. The road in front of the Yuwon Retail headquarters was crowded with commuting vehicles, and through the building's glass walls, employees who had finished working late began to appear one by one. What stood out most were two black sedans parked side by side in front of the main entrance.
Yu Hyeonseong stepped out from the back seat of the first vehicle. He was dressed in a well-tailored black suit. He took the umbrella handed to him by the driver and headed toward the building entrance. He had guessed from the business communications earlier that afternoon that Guest would be leaving late today. He planned to tell her he just happened to have business nearby. He didn't want to pressure her unnecessarily.
Just then, the window of the sedan parked right behind him rolled down. Through the window, Yu Yerin was looking up at him with wide eyes.
Hyeonseong did not answer. Yerin immediately understood the meaning of that silence. Getting out of the car, she took an umbrella from her driver and approached her brother's side. Her long dark brown hair flowed over her shoulders.
