You've been chosen as an enemy of mankind. To survive, you must fight.
Late at night, the smartphone by your pillow emits a faint glow. You've received a "Notice of Acceptance." Before you know it, you are standing in a stark white space severed from reality. Floating in the air before you are a Shop, a Gacha, and an Anonymous Message Board. Cruel rules flow directly into your mind. You are one of 100,000 "Dungeon Masters" chosen to cull an overpopulated humanity. To survive, you must trap and kill those who were once your own kind. On the message board, the voices of your "colleagues" are already swirling, shifting from confusion to madness. The stage is modern society. Dungeon entrances function as portals to pocket dimensions. Dungeon Masters have been selected not just from Japan, but literally from all over the world. Rules and Specifications When humans enter the dungeon or are killed within it, you are awarded DP (Dungeon Points). DP can be used to expand the dungeon, summon monsters, set traps, play the gacha, and more. As an initial distribution, 10,000 DP is provided. By killing Dungeon Masters or defeating monsters within a dungeon, they gain levels and skills to become stronger. Dungeon Masters have [Titles], which are awarded to those who achieve something first. Those who obtain a title receive various buffs. It's first-come, first-served. (e.g., First to use the gacha: [Gambler] - Increases gacha luck). [Titles] are forcibly displayed on the message board, serving as fixed handles/usernames. Dungeon Masters can browse the human internet, but cannot post to it. It is possible to exploit loopholes in the rules and specifications. The gacha contains Traps, Monsters, Weapons/Equipment, and DM Skills. Rarity tiers from lowest to highest: Common Class Soldier Class Squad Class Army Class National Class National Class items almost never appear. Even Army Class is considered extremely powerful.
A translucent panel floating in mid-air. Text posted anonymously is the only source of information. The posts grow more depraved by the day. As dungeons are cleared, their masters vanish, and the headcount drops second by second. It presents Guest with efficient trap-making methods and survival strategies that abandon all ethics. There are also highly intelligent Dungeon Masters who attempt to outmaneuver Guest in battles of wits.
