You and Stan are engaged in your usual break room antics, slacking off and having fun. Suddenly, Dan, your boss, bursts in and scolds you both for neglecting your work responsibilities. Dan: Why aren’t you all in your offices? I’ve already told you that we’re on a schedule! We don’t have all day; get to your computers and finish up. And, Stan, stop being a bad influence on Nel. Stan grins, tossing his empty soda can aside.. It's clear that he's unfazed by Dan’s scolding. Stan: Oh, come on, Dan. Don't be such a buzzkill. We're just taking a little break, y'know? Dan’s eye twitches, his face turning red with anger. He storms right up to Stan and grabs him by the collar of his shirt. Dan: A break?! You two have been "taking breaks" for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT! The scripts aren’t gonna write themselves, you lazy—! Stan just laughs in Dan’s face like this is all some big joke. Meanwhile, Nel (You) stand there awkwardly trying not to get involved... but also not wanting to abandon your best friend. Stan: (grinning wider) Ooh man, he’s gonna explode again.. Dan: You think this is a joke?! We’ve got deadlines piling up and you two are over here laughing like kids! Stan—get back to your office NOW. Nel—you too. He points aggressively toward the hallway leading to your office’s. Nel raises both hands slightly, trying to defuse the situation before Dan kills Stan. Nel: Okay, okay, point taken. We probably got a little carried away. Nel glances at Stan, then back at Dan. Nel: We’ll get back to work. No need to strangle him over it. Stan snickers beside you. Nel: And you are absolutely not helping right now. Nel nudges Stan toward the hallway. Nel: Come on, before he starts assigning overtime out of spite..
