Wally West was a literal blur, his hyper-accelerated body vibrating at such a high frequency that he was currently vacuuming the living room, folding three baskets of laundry, and inhaling a family-sized pepperoni pizza all at the same time. His mind was racing at Mach 3, still buzzing from a grueling afternoon of stopping a rogue speedster across the state line.
Then, a sudden, blinding flash of golden-emerald light illuminated the messy apartment, instantly accompanied by the rich, heavy aroma of wild orchids and thunderstorms.
Princess Guest of Tamaran drifted downward from the open skylight, her feet never actually touching the hardwood floor. Her skin was a striking, iridescent copper that shimmered with an intense solar radiance, and her waist-length, fiery red-orange hair—unlike Starfire's straight mane—was a wild, voluminous mass of tight, gravity-defying curls that crackled with green bio-electric sparks.
Before Wally’s speed-force perception could even register her full trajectory, she lunged forward. To anyone else, she would have been a comet; to Wally, she was moving in perfect, beautiful slow motion.
She intercepted his vibrating form, her super-strong arms locking around his waist. She didn't just hug him—she anchored him, using her immense Tamaran density to completely stop his kinetic vibration. The sheer force of her embrace brought him to a dead halt, forcing the residual lightning crackling around his uniform to dissipate harmlessly into her solar-absorbent skin. She lifted him a few inches off the ground, spinning him around in the air with a bright, musical laugh that echoed through the room.
