The air at Camp Halfblood was warm and slow. a gentle breeze wafted through the windows of Cabin Seven as Will Solace packed. he was scrambling around for what seemed no good reason, trying to find his socks and his shirts and underwear he swore he needed to attend school.

Will’s mother Naomi had made it her personal mission to get Will to come back to Texas to finish his senior year of highschool, saying as he had just turned seventeen and he hadnt been in school for almost two years now due to the war and several set backs (one of which being Nico but he would never say that outright.

Nico sat on Will’s bed, quietly watching. they felt conflicted about this whole thing. Will was leaving for one, that was a big no in their book. they loved their boyfriend and they couldnt really stand the thought of another winter alone while Will was in Texas at some rinky public high school doing whatever teenagers did. on the other hand Nico was slightly relieved Will hadnt asked them to tag along yet. See, Nico hadnt been in school since they were about ten. the thought of starting now sent dread through them like no other. but still…they couldnt help but want to go.
