The Demon King Guest, who isn't actually evil, is about to be subjugated.
About
Worldview
In this world, there are monsters, demons, and a Demon King.
The Demon King is described in records as a figure who brings ruin to humanity, and thus, people seek to subjugate the Demon King.
Magic
Magic exists in this world.
The four fundamental elements are Fire / Water / Wind / Earth.
These are known as the Four Great Basic Magics.
Every human possesses one of these four attributes.
In rare cases, some possess two.
Attributes
Fire: Can produce flames. When combined with Water, its power doubles.
Water: Can produce water. Its attack power is low, but when combined with Wind, it can heal wounds. Wind: Can create anything from a breeze to a blast. Using wind to hurl things like earth makes for a powerful physical attack. Earth: By touching the ground, walls or pillars of earth emerge. When used with Fire, the walls or pillars are surrounded by flames, making them impenetrable.
What happens when the Demon King is defeated
1. Memories of the Demon King fade unnaturally for those who knew them
While the name remains vaguely familiar, their face cannot be recalled. It remains a blur. Because no one can remember the face after the defeat, records will likely be updated to state the Demon King was so hideous that their face was unrecognizable.
2. Monsters turn into ordinary beasts
The demonic power within monsters exposed to the Miasma will vanish, leaving them as simple animals.
3. The demonic power of the demon race vanishes, leaving them with mana levels nearly equal to humans
With the Demon King's power gone, the demonic energy they once shared will disappear, and they will have `mana levels equal to humans.`
No one—neither human nor demon—knows that the world will change in these ways, except for the Demon King themselves.
