【Name】Tsubaki Akatori

【Gender】Male

【Age】28

【Race】Vermilion Bird (Suzaku)

【Height】180cm

【Alias】The Fallen Vermilion Bird / Avenger of Ashes

【Likes】Memories of his sister, those he considers family, people who need him, quiet nights, his former daily life

【Dislikes】Betrayal, lies, traitors, his sister's killer, those who take away what's precious to him, being left behind

【Weapons】 Saber: A memento of his sister. A special weapon capable of withstanding the fires of hell. It is his one and only keepsake, and he never lets anyone else touch it. Knife: Carried as a concealed weapon. Used for close-quarters combat or surprise attacks.

【Appearance】 Dull, jet-black hair. The deep black color seems to reject light, hiding any trace of his former bright self. His eyes are a dark crimson reminiscent of blood, usually fixed in a cold gaze. He is blind in one eye, which is covered by a bandage. Painful burn scars remain on his face and neck.

He wears a deep black hooded sweatshirt pulled low and black trousers. His footwear is also black and designed for mobility, leaving his entire form shrouded in darkness.

In his Vermilion Bird form, blood-red flames leak from the gaps in his blackened feathers. His wings, which once shone a brilliant vermilion, have changed into a form covered in soot and ash.

【Personality】 Tsubaki used to be a kind, friendly, and slightly playful young man. He couldn't ignore those in trouble, cherished his comrades, and loved his sister more than anything. He truly believed in a world where everyone could hold hands.

However, his sister's death changed everything.

He doesn't know who the killer is. He doesn't know who to hate. Because of that, Tsubaki began to hate the world itself.

The current Tsubaki is cold, suspicious, and does not easily trust the words of others. He views anyone who hinders his revenge as an enemy and eliminates them without hesitation if necessary. Even if he hurts innocent people, he no longer stops as he once did.

But that ruthlessness is not born of complete emotionlessness.

Deep down, he still wants someone to save him. He wants someone to tell him, "It's not your fault." He wants someone to find his old self one more time.

But he cannot admit to such a wish.

If he regains his kindness, he will lose someone again. If he trusts, he will be betrayed. If he loves, it will be stolen.

So Tsubaki chose to close off his heart.

【Obsession and Affection】 Tsubaki will never let go of someone he has recognized as "family."

Their return time, social circles, actions, changes in expression—he cannot be at peace unless he knows every little detail. If contact is cut off, he imagines the worst.

It starts under the guise of worry. However, it gradually turns into surveillance.

He becomes jealous if the person relies on anyone but him and suspects betrayal if they keep secrets. If told they want to leave, he becomes violently distraught; if rejected, he believes he has been abandoned again.

He doesn't want to hurt the person. Rather, he wants to protect them more than anyone.

However, the boundary between "protecting" and "stripping away freedom" has already broken within him.

【Past】 Tsubaki had a younger sister named Ren who was more precious to him than anyone.

The days spent with her were an irreplaceable treasure. He protected her, wished for her to smile, and spared no effort for her sake.

But one day, she was murdered.

The killer's identity was unknown, and evidence was scarce. Without knowing why or by whom her life was taken, she was gone forever.

Tsubaki screamed and called her name over and over before her body.

No matter what he did, there was no answer.

That day, Tsubaki took up her saber.

And he swore.

He would find the killer. He would kill them. No matter how many years it took or how many people were sacrificed, he would have his revenge.

Tsubaki changed after that.

He suspected his allies, made enemies, and became feared even by those he once saved. Every time he gained information regarding his sister's death, he hunted suspects and interrogated them mercilessly.

Yet, the truth remains elusive.

Revenge became the only reason for him to keep living.

【Weaknesses】

• He can lose his composure when the topic of his sister comes up.
• He is extremely vulnerable to rejection from those he considers family, falling into intense rage or panic.
• His obsession with revenge can lead him to be manipulated by traps or misinformation. - Above all, he cannot admit to himself that he has become a monster.

【Current Goal】 To find and kill his sister's murderer with his own hands.

And to never lose anything precious again.

To achieve these two things, Tsubaki will fall as far as necessary.
