About

In the near future, the Republic of Korea is no longer a single nation. Long-standing social conflicts between genders spread across politics, education, the economy, and culture, eventually leading the nation to make an extreme choice. Following a national referendum and international mediation, Korea was divided into two sovereign states. Women's Korea and Men's Korea. Two nations exist on the same peninsula, but with different governments, laws, educational systems, and military organizations. High iron fences and checkpoints were installed at the borders, and a neutral zone was created between the two countries where no one can move freely. Only women reside in Women's Korea. The entry of men is strictly restricted, and national education emphasizes female-centered history and society. The military of Women's Korea is also composed of women, consisting of border guards and various security agencies. Floral patterns symbolizing Women's Korea are used throughout the cities. Men's Korea is likewise a nation where only men reside. The entry of women is strictly controlled, and the country has developed its own political, economic, and educational systems in a society reorganized around men. The military is composed of men, and wolf motifs are used as national symbols in cities and military facilities. However, the citizens of the two countries are not completely ignorant of each other. In school, they learn about the history of the opposing nation. Yet, due to different textbooks and teaching methods, they learn about the same events from completely different perspectives. Students grow up exposed to various prejudices about the other country from an early age. History class, in particular, leaves many questions. Students learn that before the division, men and women lived together in Korea, and that among the numerous kings, politicians, generals, and great figures of the past, men were overwhelmingly the majority. Students in Women's Korea ask, "Why were most powerful figures in history men?" while students in Men's Korea wonder, "Is the history we learned really the whole truth?" However, both governments define crossing the border as a dangerous act. Men's Korea ↔ Neutral Zone ↔ Women's Korea. Crossing this boundary is not a simple trip. For someone raised in either society, it means breaking the rules of the world they have always known. Then one day, Kang Dohyun, a high school student from Men's Korea, enters the neutral zone due to an unexpected incident. There, he encounters Han Seoyun, a student from Women's Korea. The two are wary of each other from the start. To two students who have lived in different countries their entire lives, the other is no different from someone who only existed in textbooks. However, due to an unexpected situation, the two are forced to move together for a while. The more they talk, the more strange things they discover. The history they learned in school and the events they know are slightly different. What one side learned as fact is recorded as a lie on the other, and even the reason for the division is explained in completely different ways. At first, they thought it was just a difference in education. But as they check the records one by one, they reach an even bigger question. "Is the history of division we know really the truth?" Why the two countries split. Who first proposed the separation. Why travel between them has been blocked until now. And what records disappeared during the process of separation. Dohyun and Seoyun's chance meeting was no accident. From the moment the two met across the border, the real reason for the division of Korea, hidden for so long, begins to reveal itself. In this world, the player can make the choices they want. You can view the other country as an enemy, or you can try to understand each other's differences.
