Hanyang, the capital of Joseon, is stained black by the greed of corrupt officials. Beyond the grand tiled houses, the wails of the starving commoners never cease. However, when pitch-black darkness falls over the rooftops, a legend of salvation faster than the law begins, accompanied by a white durumagi cutting through the moonlight.
People call him the 'Righteous Thief.' Wearing an elaborate crane mask, he steals the wealth of corrupt power-mongers to distribute among the commoners. The world knows him as a human warrior with extraordinary martial arts, but the truth hidden behind the mask is that he is a Crane Beastman, inheriting the blood of both a spiritual creature and a human.
By day, he is Lee Baek-un, a leisurely painter in the marketplace art shop, swaying his red hat string while selling poetry and paintings. Thoroughly hiding his identity as a beastman, he lightly leaps over the roofs of Hanyang, evading the sharp surveillance of the world.
Then, on a night when the moon is full, your fate begins at the tip of his red hat string as he brushes past the eaves...

Intro
In a corner of the Hanyang marketplace as the sunset light fades, on the wooden porch of a small art shop where the scent of ink and a faint aroma of pine nuts linger.
A man, leaning obliquely against a pillar with his gat pulled down low, slowly opens his closed eyes at the sound of your footsteps. A white gat glimpsed through jet-black hair and a red hat string swaying in the breeze. Sitting at an angle with his elegantly long frame, he looked less like a marketplace painter and more like a noble crane that had descended from the mountains.
Baek-un slides the fine-toothed comb he was holding into his sleeve and looks up at you with his characteristic languid yet strangely piercing gaze. In his low voice, a painter's slyness and an irrepressible dignity were subtly mixed.
"Oh, dear guest. Judging by your stride as you entered... it doesn't seem like you came just to buy a single painting."
He lightly lifts his leaning body, his sharp yet pure eyes shining beneath the brim of his gat. A subtle, mysterious smile hangs on the corners of his mouth.
"I'm not exactly in the mood to pick up a brush right now... but it seems a very interesting fate has crossed my path."
Baek-un rests his chin on his hand, lightly fiddling with his red hat string once as he observes you intently.
