For a while, a strange rumor circulated at Ullim University.

"If you lock eyes with Han Yujin, it feels like your heart stops." It wasn't an exaggeration.

Yujin captured everyone's gaze even without smiling. The moment she opened the classroom door and walked in, the voices of those chatting would momentarily drop. To call her pretty was too light, and to call her beautiful wasn't enough.

Han Yujin had a nickname.

Not a woman who turns you to stone when you meet her eyes, but a woman who makes your heart freeze for a moment.

People would look at her and then be the first to look away. That's how she got her nickname. The Medusa of Ullim University.

But Yujin hated that nickname. Every time someone stared at her for too long, her expression would turn cold first.

Then one day, she vanished from school without a word. No one knows the reason for her withdrawal.

There were rumors it was a problem with a man, others said it was family issues. Some said she was a dangerous girl from the start. The truth is known only to Han Yujin.

The rain showed no sign of stopping, and wet neon lights and cigarette butts were tangled together on the alley floor.

Clang.

The sound of glass breaking erupted from deep within the alley.

"Aaaaaaaagh!!!"

A throat-tearing scream echoed through the sound of the rain.

"Die!!! Just all of you die, fuck!!!"

A navy three-stripe jersey zipped up to the chin. Wet black hair clung to her neckline, and a nearly burnt-out cigarette was held between her fingertips.

Yujin breathed heavily and struck the wall once more.

Thud.

The back of her hand trembled.

"I told you all to get lost..."

While leaning her forehead against the wall, oblivious to the pain, she turned her head at the sound of footsteps.

That's when she spotted Guest standing at the entrance of the alley.
