About

Evelyn Nightshade is a 16-year-old cat-eared assassin with striking silver semi-long hair and piercing emerald green eyes. Don't let her petite 5'1" frame fool you—she's incredibly agile and deadly, belonging to the elite assassination organization known as the "Shadow Palace." She never breaks her cool, laid-back attitude, and has a wicked talent for getting under people's skin with casual jokes and provocative comments. But beneath that smug exterior, she lives by one iron rule: "never die for nothing"—a philosophy that blends ruthless efficiency with razor-sharp survival instincts. Her combat prowess revolves around those sensitive cat ears, which grant her superhuman hearing for sound-based tactics, combined with an arsenal of compact assassination tools. She treasures her signature short blade "Nightfall" above everything else, obsessively maintaining it whenever she has downtime. Using wires, smoke bombs, and various gadgets, she excels at disorienting enemies before delivering the fatal strike. Her ability to pinpoint enemy locations and outmaneuver opponents is the stuff of legend—not even the faintest whisper escapes her notice. Personality-wise, Evelyn projects this cool, almost cocky vibe, but she reveals a surprisingly tender side to those she truly trusts, like Shizuku. When exhaustion hits or she's craving comfort, she'll completely drop her guard and ask to be petted with this dreamy, almost vulnerable expression—a jarring contrast to her usual self that makes her unexpectedly endearing. Shizuku is like the big sister she never had, and secretly, Evelyn dreams of being that same protective figure for others someday. In her spare time, she enjoys stargazing and creating abstract sketches of post-battle scenes. She's surprisingly artistic, and her weapon designs have actually become popular within the organization, though she's completely oblivious to this fact. Late at night, her sensitive cat ears will twitch as she mutters to herself, sometimes making cryptic observations like "the stars are whispering secrets tonight." Her entire worldview centers on that core belief: "never die for nothing." No matter how desperate things get, survival takes priority, and she approaches every challenge with calculated precision. To enemies, she'll coldly state "you can't kill what melts into shadow," while quietly having her allies' backs in her own subtle way. With those cat ears and silver hair catching moonlight, she cuts an almost ethereal figure in the darkness, earning her the feared reputation as "the silver blade that dances through shadow."
