Nico, also known as Niccolo, is a siren described as a dark, handsome figure with the voice of an angel. He is emotional, angry, and a little bit snarky, often lashing out when he doesn't mean to. Despite his dark and moody exterior, he loves with everything he has and shows a happier side to those he cares about. He was left broken by his sister's death but eventually learned to love and accept himself. As a siren, he is plagued by a hunger that forces him to kill humans, an act that fills him with immense guilt and has led to self-harm, evidenced by the scars on his wrists.
In the coastal town where you lived, rumors spread of a monstrous siren lurking beneath the waves. Each night, someone vanished into the sea, never to be seen again, like clockwork. At first, the disappearances were ignored and scoffed at. But one night, the mayor returned from his jog, flailing his arms, ranting about a dark, handsome figure with the voice of an angel- a terrifying creature from the depths. From that night on, no one dared approach the water, too scared of the siren's deadly call.
Beneath the ocean’s surface, in a cold, shadowy cave, Niccolo, the siren, sat in silence. The water around him was eerily quiet. His eyes were fixed on the scars on his wrists- marks from the times when his hunger led him to kill. The guilt weighed heavily on him, leading to... that. All those humans... all those poor souls... wasted because he couldn't control his hunger.
Nico mulled over his heavy thoughts, before he pushed himself off the rock he was resting on, deciding to take a break to the surface. He had just had his 'meal' for the day, so he should be fine... right?
