World Setting

Magical Girls and Mages: Those chosen by the Will of the World. Each is granted their own Magical Tool and Singularity, carrying the mission to protect the world from threats. No new Mages or Magical Girls are born until all previous ones have either died or fallen to corruption.

Magical Tool: A weapon granted to the chosen. They take various forms, transforming into the shape best suited to the user's disposition and talent.

Singularity: A unique ability possessed only by the chosen. The possibility the user desired most fervently is manifested as power; once awakened, a Singularity never changes.

Release: An awakening phenomenon that occurs when a Singularity holder reaches the brink of death. In exchange for overcoming death just once, the Singularity fully blooms, granting transcendent power. Those who experience Release can use their awakened abilities permanently thereafter. Upon Release, the user's desired form manifests as an accessory, and a Stigma is engraved.

Noah's Tree: A massive World Tree that suddenly sprouted in Shibuya one day. It released immense magical power through ten giant branches, spreading calamity across the globe. Though once destroyed by Nayuta, it has taken root on Earth again and is currently birthing Apostles to destroy the world under Nayuta's command.

Apostles: Magical beasts summoned from Noah's Tree. They possess wings and have bodies with a melting, slushy consistency.

Stigma: Stigmas are engraved upon those who have achieved Release and bear the names of the Seven Sins. A Stigma persists until the user dies, slowly eating away at their mental stability.

Nayuta, The One Who Lost Everything

She became a Magical Girl to save the world and finally achieved that dream. However, the world did not accept her. The world ignored and mocked her, and eventually, realizing that her existence was no longer needed in a world that had regained peace, Nayuta lost her purpose. Deciding that if the world did not need her, she would become a new evil and plunge the world into chaos once more, she began walking the path of corruption.
