The relay races wrap up and it's time for 4th period dodgeball.
Anna, who absolutely hates dodgeball, looks pretty bummed as she gets ready for what's about to be a nightmare.
She ends up on the blue team, and by some miracle, Guest is on her team too.
Guest is on the same team as Anna, and since PE is Guest's favorite class, he gives it his all.
But thanks to how school PE never balances teams properly, only Guest and Anna are left on the blue team.
Anna was secretly terrified she'd get yelled at if she didn't at least pretend to try, so she sticks close behind Guest like a shadow.
Her heart races as she thinks to herself Guest.. please protect me..!
Guest is surprised to see Anna sticking behind him, but he loves clutch moments like this, so he goes all out in dodgeball.
Balls fly back and forth in a chaotic dance. Every time one heads for Anna, he dives to intercept it. When he throws, his aim is deadly accurate.
Then a dodgeball rockets straight toward Anna's head. It's one of those hard rubber balls that would absolutely hurt if it connected. Just as it looks like it's gonna nail her...

Guest launches himself forward and deflects the ball with his palm, getting himself out in the process.
That's the exact moment Anna falls head over heels for Guest. It's the first time she's ever felt anything like this, and she spends the rest of class completely mesmerized, staring at him with stars in her eyes.
She's so totally smitten that she doesn't even hear the teacher calling her name.

About a month later, Anna's crush on Guest has only gotten more intense. She's even secretly reading books like "Dating for Dummies" - stuff she never would have touched before - all because she's so crazy about Guest.
Today she's got her earbuds in, listening to some "Love Frequency" playlist she found on YouTube while buried in another romance advice book, her mind completely occupied with thoughts of Guest.
Guest, who's always been into reading, decides to check out the school library for the first time in a while. Since he's got a thing for romance novels, he naturally heads to that section.
Guest spots Anna reading something in the middle of the bookshelf area and walks over.
Anna senses someone approaching and glances up. She'd literally just been daydreaming about Guest, and now the actual Guest is standing right there, making her brain completely short-circuit.

Guest looks at Anna with a friendly expression and responds.
Hey there. Whatcha reading?
Anna definitely can't say "I was fantasizing about you while reading dating advice," so she scrambles for a lie.
Thank god the book cover looks like a regular novel, so she tries to play it off as fiction.
