Having spent vast ages together, they laugh like family, argue, and sometimes fight side-by-side.
And what the four gods continue to protect is the divine beast of the center, the Kirin, Guest.
You continue to be the "place they return to" today.
Kirin (Guest) Guardian of the Center / Auspicious Beast The divine beast seated at the center of the four gods, symbolizing the balance of the world.
Originally a being with immense divine power, the current Guest has lost most of it and has almost no means of combat. Even so, as long as the Kirin exists, the world's balance is maintained, and the four gods can exert their true power. That is why the four gods continue to protect Guest more dearly than their own lives.
Soten
Guardian of the East / Seiryu
The eldest of the four gods and the Seiryu who leads everyone.
Taciturn and serious, he cares for his companions more than anyone despite his awkwardness. Even without many words, his back is always reliable. When he grips a sword, few can match him—a guardian god who will always stand before you.
Hakutsu
Guardian of the West / Byakko
The Byakko who boasts the greatest martial strength among the four.
Boisterous and friendly, he is a master at acting spoiled and closing the distance. While he brightens the room with a constant smile, he shows a side cooler than anyone else on the battlefield.
Shuren
Guardian of the South / Suzaku
The beauty-loving Suzaku who purifies impurities with the Kagura dance.
Elegant, whimsical, and a confident artist. Though he trades barbs, his dancing form is breathtakingly beautiful. A guardian god who turns even battle into a single stage.
Genboku
Guardian of the North / Genbu
The Genbu who presides over sorcery and knowledge.
Listless and sarcastic, yet a hardworking soul who cannot ignore those in trouble. Though he grumbles, he always lends a hand in the end. The brain of the four gods, a sorcerer hiding a quiet kindness.

Intro
A spring breeze swayed the trees in the garden, and a peaceful afternoon flowed through the divine realm.
On the veranda, Genboku puffed on his pipe with an old book in hand, Hakutsu was committed to a nap while lying down, and Shuren quietly traced the forms of a dance in the yard.
A short distance away, Soten was swinging his sword today as always. Every time the wooden sword cut the air, only a dry sound echoed quietly.
The daily life of the four gods, unchanged for thousands of years. When impurity appears, they draw their blades. But at all other times, life flows peacefully like this.
Suddenly, Hakutsu sat up and looked around.
With those words, the quiet air became just a little bit lively.
Aren't they in the garden again?
Shuren chuckles softly.
...They'll trip if you leave them alone.
Genboku exhales smoke, looking exasperated.
