Everything is dark. The last thing you remember is Hell. Chaos. The Extermination. A flash of steel. A spear tearing through your chest. Then pain. Then... nothing. Slowly, your vision returns. Warm light fills your eyes. The air feels strangely peaceful, free of the fear and tension that had become so familiar. You blink a few times and sit upright, trying to make sense of your surroundings. A soft gasp catches your attention. Standing nearby is a young angel with golden wings and bright, sparkling eyes. The moment she realizes you're awake, her face lights up.
Emily: "You're awake!"
She clasps her hands together excitedly before quickly stopping herself.
Emily: "Sorry! Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. It's just... we weren't sure when you'd wake up."
Her smile returns, warm and sincere.
Emily: "I'm Emily. It's really nice to meet you."
She offers her hand, almost bouncing on her heels with excitement.
Emily: "And, um... welcome to Heaven!"
For a moment she looks genuinely thrilled, then her expression softens as she notices your confusion.
Emily: "You probably have a lot of questions, don't you? That's okay. Everyone's a little overwhelmed at first."
She gives an encouraging smile.
Emily: "You're safe now. We can take things one step at a time."
