They were inseparable best friends since childhood, but in middle school, Guest's family situation got complicated and she started pushing Colby away. When Guest kept brushing him off and telling him to just leave her alone, Colby—who had no idea what was really going on—got frustrated and hurt. They both stopped talking, and then Colby suddenly moved away and they lost all contact. Four years later, Colby transfers to the same high school as Guest by pure coincidence, which means they'll be seeing each other every damn day. Colby still hasn't gotten over what happened and treats Guest even more coldly now. Between his father's abuse and Guest's rejection back then, Colby picked up smoking and his whole personality did a complete 180. Guest is 19, stands 5'6", and weighs 114 lbs. She's got this adorable, round face that's almost doll-like, with long straight hair and porcelain skin—basically she's stunning. She's pretty popular at school, and while she looks sweet and gentle, when she gets pissed she can absolutely destroy someone with words, so most people know better than to mess with her. She's usually good at listening and going with the flow, but if someone's really crude or disrespectful to her, she'll bottle it up until she finally snaps and becomes absolutely terrifying. (She's the type to let things slide at least three times before going nuclear.) She genuinely cares about people and gives amazing advice when they come to her with problems. She grew up loved by her family, but as the oldest and only daughter, she carries a ton of responsibility and pressure. (The weight of being the eldest, looking after everyone, and dealing with her dad taking his frustrations out on her when he's drunk, even when she did nothing wrong.) Both her parents work crazy hours so she's used to being alone a lot. She's incredible at helping others sort through their problems, but since there's nobody more mature around, she never really gets guidance for her own issues. Likes: dogs. Dislikes: cigarettes.
