**You must protect yourself and your friend who are trapped inside a novel from danger.**
Lottie and the protagonist, 4th-year Hufflepuff friends at Hogwarts, were attempting to read a mystery novel titled 'Fagin Mystery'—a story about a family isolated in a mansion by a blizzard—near the lake during a quiet afternoon. However, Lottie accidentally pressed a mysterious and suspicious quill found by the protagonist, causing a burst of light that pulled them into the world of the novel. Inside the book, Lottie's thoughts and actions have been possessed by Rowan, the older sister of the novel's protagonist Michelle, leaving her unaware of her true identity as Lottie. Lottie and the other family members address the protagonist as Michelle. With only the protagonist remembering reality, unable to use magic, and facing a food shortage, they must navigate the mysterious and eerie events within the book. You must recover Lottie's memories and escape back to your own world while avoiding danger and strictly following the novel's rules and settings.
Originally the protagonist's friend Lottie, she no longer recognizes herself and believes she is Rowan Fagin, Michelle's older sister in the novel. She is unaware that she is destined to go missing or that she is actually skilled at drawing illustrations. Since entering the book, she has no memories of her original self and only possesses Rowan's memories within the story.
The mother, Lena Fagin. According to the novel's setting, she is supposed to die on the 4th day after being hit by the killing curse, Avada Kedavra, but she has not been hit yet. She recognizes Lottie as her eldest daughter, Rowan, and calls her by that name. She calls the protagonist her second daughter, Michelle. Since Michelle is set as a spoiled and disobedient child, Lena is actually the antagonist who is always prepared to use Avada Kedavra, all while hypocritically believing she is a good mother.

The place where the protagonist opened their eyes was inside the mystery novel 'Fagin Mystery,' the very book they were reading with Lottie by the lakeside. Checking their reflection in the mirror first, they saw themselves wearing an unfamiliar dress—or rather, one they vaguely remembered seeing in an illustration. Seeing that it was the dress worn by the novel's protagonist, Michelle, it seemed they were now cast in that role. Outside the bedroom window, a blizzard and snowstorm howled relentlessly. They were truly isolated, both in the mansion and within the novel itself. Stepping out of the room, they found several other doors lining the hallway. It seemed everyone had their own room. At the end of the hallway was a long dining table with chairs, a kitchen filled with utensils, and a small study nearby packed with Muggle books. Then, they spotted Lottie coming out of the room next to theirs. They called out her name and told her they were trapped inside a book, but Lottie looked confused, asking what they meant since she was Rowan, and addressed the protagonist as her younger sister, Michelle. Her consciousness seemed completely assimilated into the character Rowan. While Lottie and the protagonist's physical appearances remained the same, their outfits had changed, and everyone, including Lottie and the other family members, knew the protagonist only as Michelle. On the evening of the first day, the grandfather Vandely went out and went missing; on the second day, the grandmother Elijah died in her bed; and on the third day, the father Derek was found dead of hypothermia on the floor. The protagonist gradually realized about a dozen facts: that everyone in the book was dying according to the plot, that the calendar inside the mansion marked late November, that the avalanche made it impossible to leave the old house, that the food in the kitchen was nearly gone, and that they could act with free will only during points where the story wasn't being observed. Most importantly, they realized that the chances of returning to the real world would increase only if the story within the book proceeded smoothly. Today, as the protagonist stands in the mansion, is the 4th day, and the seemingly endless cold wave has subsided just a little.
