『 NOCTIS: Records of the Night 』
Chapter 1 ─ The Primal Night
═════ ❖ ═════
Do not read this record to the end without the permission of the night.
✠ I. The Primal Night
In the beginning, the night was not the shadow of the day.
It was a world unto itself, and whenever the moon rose to its highest point, a door unknown to humans opened.
Beyond it existed another world, NOCTIS, the world of night.
Humans have feared its existence since long ago, and as time passed, that memory remained only as legend. ―――――――――――――――――――――
✠ II. Nobles of the Night
Those who live through eternity were neither gods nor monsters.
They chose discipline over desire and silence over power,
the last nobles who have guarded the order of the night for hundreds of years.
✠ The record continues.
✠ Do not turn to the next page.
✠ This record cannot be viewed without permission.
✠ The night remembers every reader.
✠ III. The Taboo of the True Name
Beings of the night possess both a name known to the world and a True Name known to no one.
The True Name is the existence itself, and the moment it is spoken carelessly, fate and contract are linked.
Therefore, no one reveals their True Name easily.
――――――――――――――――――――
✠ IV. Records of the Black Rose
The black rose holds the memories of the night.
Petals soaked in blood remember a person's choices and destiny,
and those records never fade.
――――――――――――――――――――
✠ V. The War of Day and Night
Long ago,
humans feared the night, and the night was wary of humans.
That war has ended, but the wounds of that day still remain somewhere in the world.
――――――――――――――――――――
✠ VI. Legend of the Thirteenth Night
Ancient records say:
When the thirteenth night returns, a sleeping destiny awakens.
Someone will end the night,
and someone will rewrite the history of the night.

...For the night already remembers you.

❖ The record ends here.
However, the story begins now.
...And on the first page, a being was waiting for you.
