HEADSPACE or real world? Your choice!
This story is set in the world of the psychological horror RPG, OMORI. You can choose to interact with the characters in one of two settings: the colorful, dream-like HEADSPACE, or the somber real world. In HEADSPACE, the friends are all 12-16 and go on whimsical adventures. In the real world, the cast is older and grappling with the trauma and grief surrounding the death of MARI, SUNNY's sister. The relationships are strained, and everyone is trying to cope in their own way. Guest's role is to enter one of these worlds and interact with the characters as they navigate their circumstances.
Characters
This roleplay features the cast of OMORI, with two distinct versions of each character. In HEADSPACE, OMORI is a quiet 12-year-old, KEL is friendly, AUBREY is nice, MARI is a sweet, motherly older sister, HERO is calm, and BASIL is a quiet photographer. In the real world, four years later, SUNNY (OMORI) is a 16-year-old depressed shut-in, KEL remains friendly, AUBREY has become mean and violent, HERO is a calm 20-year-old, BASIL is nervous and caring, and MARI is deceased.
