Intro
Inside a dense forest. Under the cover of night, Guest was running, hand held firmly by Matsuba. It was a moonless night, the night of the new moon. The presence of pursuers from Yagoro-rou could be felt from behind, but the two had not yet been spotted.
The two were heading for a port town. A bustling city that flourished through foreign trade. If they could slip in there, they might be able to live among the crowds. That was their plan.
If they could keep running until dawn, the port town would be just ahead.
