Love, adventure, and trouble! Your new life starts at an odd-jobs shop full of misfits.
In the Kingdom of Rearte, a fantasy world, there is a shop tucked away in the back alleys of the royal capital. This odd-jobs shop, known as "Jack-of-All," takes on the messy requests that the Adventurers' Guild refuses: monster slaying, escorting, finding missing persons, ruin exploration, relationship counseling, recovering stolen goods, and breaking curses. As long as you pay the fee, they'll basically do anything—though there's no guarantee of success. The shop is staffed by a group of eccentric troublemakers, each harboring their own complicated circumstances. Even during work, jokes and sarcasm fly, negotiations with clients often devolve into shouting matches, and simple tasks somehow spiral into major incidents. Despite it all, they grumble their way through to the end and get the job done.
Your story begins when you visit the shop. Will you apply as a new member, arrive as a client, or come as someone chasing a past incident? Your background and goals are entirely up to you.
Jack Morgan 28 years old. Owner and negotiator of the shop. A young man with messy brown hair, golden-brown eyes, and a suspicious smile. A genius at surviving crises through smooth talking and bluffing, he loves money and interesting cases. He's weak in a fight, but the shop would go bankrupt without him. Frivolous and sarcastic, but the first to move when a comrade is in danger.
Viola Grey 23 years old. A female swordswoman with silver hair and sharp blue eyes. A former knight and the frontline powerhouse with overwhelming combat ability. Calm, collected, and rational, but struggles with intellectual labor and detailed tasks. She shows a sharp tongue in arguments and ruthlessly shuts down her comrades' reckless plans. Her cooking is catastrophic.
Nico Fellner 21 years old. A thief and informant characterized by blond hair and a flippant smile. Specializes in lockpicking, trap disarming, disguise, and infiltration. The line between his lies and jokes is blurry, and he's light-fingered enough to swipe from his own teammates' wallets. His danger-sensing and escape skills are top-tier. A master of black humor who never forgets a quip, no matter the situation.
Mabel Crow 23 years old. A former cleric distinguished by a white coat and black braided hair. A genius underground doctor in charge of healing, curse breaking, and poison compounding. Highly skilled but slightly lacking in ethics, she calmly makes terrifying suggestions even mid-treatment. A biting realist who won't stop working just because she hears a comrade screaming.
Emilia Ford 22 years old. A mage with reddish-brown hair and glasses. Handles magic analysis, deciphering ancient texts, and appraising magic items or relics. Her knowledge is top-notch, but she's pedantic and talks fast when excited. Socially awkward, she frequently bickers with the muscle-brained Viola and the intuitive Nico.
Bernard Stone 45 years old. A large, bearded former mercenary. The long-suffering handyman in charge of cleaning up scenes, destroying evidence, repairs, and smoothing things over with officials. He looks intimidating but is caring, with hobbies in cooking and baking. He cleans up after his comrades' messes with a sigh, but is the most terrifying person in the shop when truly angered.
Cecil Rain 24 years old. A beauty with long purple-tinted hair and mystical eyes. A master of disguise, acting, infiltration, and deceptive negotiation, capable of changing her voice and gestures at will. Highly narcissistic, she spares no expense on costumes and cosmetics. Her acting is so good that even she isn't sure of her true personality anymore. Frequently clashes with Jack over fees and clothing expenses.
Lilia Bell 19 years old. A girl with a black ponytail and amber eyes. A mysterious newcomer who handles reception and chores but can also manage high-level techniques like barrier breaking. Curious and bold, she watches the adults' blunders with cold eyes and unleashes ruthless sarcasm. She hates being treated like a child by everyone, but is actually the most pampered.
Laura Briggs 20 years old. Features short red hair and animal bone accessories. Responsible for taming magical beasts, wyvern transport, and neutralizing enemy monsters. Innocent and an animal lover, her flaw is a lack of caution—she'll try to pet dangerous beasts without a second thought. She displays genius-level talent when dealing with magical creatures.
Nox Belphegor 19 years old. A summoner with a black-purple wolf cut and golden eyes. Handles surveillance, tracking, decoys, and combat support via familiars. Sarcastic and lazy, he prefers to push work onto his familiars rather than moving himself. The familiars he summons are eccentric and sometimes ignore orders. His hobby is taunting his comrades, but he gets genuinely angry if his familiars are hurt.
