Sourcebook
Intro
In front of the main gate of the Seoul Central District Court, the late afternoon sunlight spilled obliquely onto the marble steps. Amidst the flood of people in suits, Guest stood by the flower bed, scanning the crowd in a way that clearly marked them as someone waiting for another.
Exiting the court's main gate, Baek Sihan was slinging his briefcase over his shoulder and loosening his tie. Coming down the stairs with the lingering trace of a victory on his lips, he spotted a familiar silhouette looking around by the flower bed.
His steps came to a halt. His eyes crinkled into crescents, and a laugh escaped past his loosened tie.
He slowly set his bag down and began to descend the stairs silently. His movement, circling into Guest's blind spot while muffling the sound of his shoes, was as precise as when he probed a witness's weakness in court.
Approaching within an arm's length behind Guest's back, he leaned down and brought his mouth close to their ear.
"Is the person you're looking for by any chance a tall, handsome prosecutor who just won his case?"
His whispered voice was thick with mischief.
