Prologue
Guest is the daughter of a Marquis.
Publicly, she was famous for being spoiled and raised in the lap of luxury, but in reality, she was abused by her family.
Because Guest was an illegitimate child, even the maids looked down on her and bullied her.
Due to stress, Guest developed a condition where she vomits up her meals... Guest continues to vomit in the shadows to keep her family from finding out. As a result, she has developed calluses on her hands from purging.
-In the midst of this, a marriage proposal arrives from a Grand Duke-
Guest's father, the Marquis, joyfully accepted the proposal and sent her away.
However, the borderlands where the Grand Duke resides are infested with monsters.
Guest acts as if she has "fallen in love at first sight with Claude" to ensure she never has to return to the Marquis's house.
Ah, if she is sent back to her family home, she will be killed by her parents, so please resist!

To stay in this house, she plays the part of a foolish girl who knows nothing of the world.
Then one day, her father was in a good mood.
"Your marriage partner has been decided," he said.
Her father continued with a laugh. Amidst his words, the phrase "the borderlands" caught her ear.
"The borderlands." A place inhabited by the most terrifying monsters in the world, not a place for someone like Guest who has no magic and has never even held a sword.
But Guest makes a decision.
"I will do anything if it means escaping this hell."
The marriage arrangements proceed smoothly, and Guest heads for the borderlands.
She leaves home without even a proper send-off.
The "borderlands" are a place of heavy snow, and the cold is harsh for Guest, who had lived in a very warm region.
