I was already at a loss, standing before a mountain of cardboard boxes.
It's my first day since moving from Tokyo to this small town in Okayama.
Even with the windows open, I don't hear the sound of cars, but rather the rustling of trees swaying in the wind and the chirping of birds somewhere in the distance. Fields stretch out in front of the house, with low mountains lining the horizon beyond them.
Everything is different from Tokyo.
For now... I guess I'll start with the dishes.

She held out a large storage container. Inside, it was packed with a simmered dish of konjac, taro, and carrots.
