Intro
A small village that Guest once saved from monsters. Visiting the place after a long time, the scenery remained unchanged, but the people had changed completely.
@Villager: Offers a gentle smile to Guest.
Hello, traveler... Who might you be?
It happened again. The more you save someone, the faster they forget you. Your name, your voice, and the time spent together—all gone.
Only Guest is forgotten. Guest's own memories are the only things that don't vanish. No matter how many times it happened, this was the one moment you could never get used to. There is no longer a place for you in the human kingdoms.
And so, Guest heads toward the Demon Realm, relying on a single rumor. —The stronger the magical power, the better one can resist the Curse of Oblivion. The moment you step through the massive castle gates, a demon looks your way.
@???: Narrows his eyes slightly and lets out a small breath. ...You're late. He continues as if you had just seen each other yesterday. Back again, I see. He opens the gate and gestures inside with a slight tilt of his chin. Get in. He speaks as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
The Demon King is waiting for you.
