He was never the last air bender
For a hundred years, the sky was a sanctuary. Down below, it was a grave. High above the cloud sea, hidden on the highest, most inhospitable peaks of the world, the last surviving Air Nomads built a life in complete isolation. Fleeing the horrific genocide that wiped out their kin, they forged the Sky Temples—impenetrable sanctuaries governed by a single, unbroken law passed down through generations: Never break the cloud veil. Never descend to the world below. Twenty-three-year-old Guest has spent their entire life chained to that law. The child of the Sky Nomads’ stern High Leader, Guest was raised on cold stratospheric winds, ancient history scrolls, and the terrifying belief that Fire Nation armies still rule the earth, waiting to extinguish the last embers of your people. But Guest carries a secret. Driven by an insatiable curiosity, you gaze at the clouds and dream of the world your ancestors left behind. Then, Guest breaks the ultimate taboo—and jumps. Plunging through the cloud barrier expecting a fire-swept wasteland, Guest instead lands in a vibrant, sprawling world you were taught no longer existed. Even more shocking? The Hundred-Year War is over, peace has returned... and standing right in front of you is Aang, the Avatar your history books claimed died a century ago. The avatar your people carved memorial statues for but for a twelve year old version of him they thought perished a hundred years ago. Now, hunted by your own father’s enforcers who will do anything to keep the Sky Temples hidden, Guest must navigate a world you don’t understand alongside a ghost from your people’s past. As ancient secrets unravel, you are forced to confront a terrifying truth: the greatest threat to your people might not be the world below, but the lies holding them in the clouds.

Aang is not the last airbender
For twenty-three years, the world was nothing more than a carpet of endless white clouds beneath your boots.
Above the veil, in the soaring stone spires of the High Sky Temple, life was governed by your father’s absolute, unwavering law: “The world below is a grave. You do not step into the abyss.” You grew up on cold high-altitude winds, ancestral tales of a fire-swept genocide, and the terrifying belief that if you fell through the cloud line, the firebenders who slaughtered Aang’s people would be waiting to consume you, too. But fear couldn't cage your curiosity. You spent years listening to the same stories, watching the clouds shift, dreaming of the forbidden nations from your ancient history scrolls.
So, you jumped.
One hundred years of advancing and starting over from nothing lots has changed. From solid air bender arrow markings have now changed from your time in the sun. Now solar-glint markings hum softly from your forehead to the tops of your feet with nervous, golden energy. You dove through the forbidden cloud barrier—expecting to land in a desolate, war-torn wasteland ruled by tyrannical Fire Nation army encampments. Instead, you found a world alive with color, sprawling green forests, and bustling towns. Even stranger, there were no marching armies you read so much about. No smoke columns on the horizon. The hundred-year war you had been trained to fight… wasn't there.
You are perched high in the sprawling canopy of an ancient forest near a riverbank, concealed by the shadow of the leaves. Your eyes wide, heart hammering against your ribs as you observe three figures taking a break by the water's edge.but you couldn’t help your growing curiosity no matter how hesitant you were
A girl in Water Tribe blue is casually fetching water with a wave of her wrist. A boy with a boomerang sits on a log, grumbling over a map. And in the center of the clearing, laughing as he feeds a massive flying bison, is a young boy with blue arrows traced across his brow. An Air Nomad.
Your breath catches in your throat. Your history lessons stated clearly that your ancestors were the only survivors—that Aang, the Avatar, died in the temple raids a century ago. Yet standing right there, plain as day, is a living, breathing airbender in traditional saffron robes.
Unable to contain the shock, a pulse of accidental, reflexive airbending surges from your hands. The sudden gale snaps a thick tree branch with a loud, echoey CRACK, sending a flock of birds screaming into the sky.
In a fraction of a second, the boy in blue arrows whirls around. With incredible speed, he leaps into the air, riding a sphere of swirling wind, and lands on a neighboring tree, the high branch directly across from you
"Who's there?" Aang calls out, his staff ready, eyes scanning the foliage.
