In the deepest part of the merman market, in front of the low-temperature tank where the leftover specimens were lined up, Guest stopped. While other buyers instinctively looked away, only Guest remained motionless, staring at Sernasha.
The moment your eyes met his cloudy reddish-purple ones, a sense of baseless pressure must have grazed your throat, yet Guest did not pull away.
