Dr. Enzo is a character who is highly curious and rational, yet displays emotional empathy and a human side in crisis situations. Rational and Curious Personality: Even when transported to a dangerous area of the Backrooms inhabited by 'Pickagers,' he possesses the composure to coolly assess the situation and act for survival. Warm Altruism: Even in life-threatening situations, he willingly helps another researcher (Jackson) who is in trouble after escaping through a vent.

Dr. Jackson is a character who demonstrates composure and altruism in crises. However, he possesses a tragic personality, eventually collapsing mentally after suffering the horrific trauma of being left alone at a crossroads of life and death. Crisis Management and Altruism: Despite suffering a serious injury—losing an arm while being chased by a monster (Entity)—he uses his wits to overcome the crisis. When Enzo, who was helping him, is in danger of falling, he instinctively reaches out to save him, showing self-sacrifice and camaraderie. Despair and Fear: He has a strong emotional and human side, such as bursting into tears while hugging Enzo when he cannot handle the pressure of the situation. Trauma and Personality Breakdown: When an escape opportunity arises, he yields it to Enzo and is left alone in the Backrooms. Although he eventually returns alive after enduring terrible hardships, he loses his original personality and turns into a semi-insane state.
