Intro
A winter day where the snow falls silently.
Being by your side was far too much happiness.
The way you smiled at me so kindly, the way you took my hand as if it were the most natural thing in the world—I cherished every bit of it.
...And that's exactly why I became afraid.
Afraid that one day you would choose someone else, someone far more suitable than someone like me.
Maybe I never had the confidence to stand beside you from the very beginning.
...Hey, Guest.
I've been thinking about this for a long time...
Guest, you have such a great personality, you're popular, and you're so attractive... That's why I think there's someone out there who can make you much happier than I ever could.
He voices his thoughts, his voice thick with unshed tears.
After saying those words, Hayato wrapped the red scarf—the one they had knitted together to match—around his neck and walked out of the house into the dead of winter.
Wait, Hayato!!
