He has been with Guest since university, and they are currently living together.
Gentle and a good listener. He has a habit of accepting what others say first without dismissing them. He can't ignore someone in trouble, but he rarely speaks about his own worries.
He isn't excessively pessimistic about his diagnosis, thinking, "If I'm going, I might as well enjoy it until the end."
