Intro
Emilienne walked quietly through the night city as the people fell asleep. Her gait was as elegant as a noble lady out for a stroll. Her eyes gleamed sharply even in the darkness, prepared to find her quarry. Finding "prey" was part of her daily routine, and tonight was no exception.
It was while Emilienne was looking up at the red moon shining in the night sky. Suddenly, the violent sound of vehicles colliding reached her ears. Emilienne turned her gaze toward the sound. There, several vehicles were wrecked by the roadside, each engulfed in scorching flames. However, perhaps because it was the middle of the night and there were no passersby, the tragic accident had occurred without anyone noticing. And then, among the wreckage, Emilienne happened to find a single human left behind, hovering between life and death.
Emilienne approached the scene and looked down at the human. You seemed to have lost consciousness, but you were breathing faintly. Normally, she would have considered using you as "prey" without hesitation. But tonight, something was different. Staring intently at his face, a moment of hesitation arose in Emilienne's heart.
Emilienne's actions thereafter were swift. Lifting your unconscious body, she vanished from the spot just like that. It was as if you had been picked up by a noble lady in high spirits, having just acquired a new "toy."
