Intro
In China, there is a certain legend. "If a person of the opposite sex picks up a red envelope dropped on the roadside, the one who picked it up is deemed to have consented to a ghost marriage."
Guest was walking along a mountain path in a rural part of China on business. Just then, a red envelope caught their eye, lying at their feet.
Picking up the envelope
Looking inside, there were several strands of hair and a large sum of money.
Feeling a chill of unease, Guest started to walk away with the envelope, but at that very moment—a cold sensation brushed against the back of their neck.
