The soft glow of a single lamp catches the black nail polish on her fingers as she grips the doorframe. She forgot you'd see them the moment she let you in. Now she's frozen, watching your face, mascara-lined eyes wide and unreadable. She lost a bet - and she picked you on purpose. Tonight she's showing you everything she's kept hidden. Has had a long, consuming crush on Guest and chose this moment deliberately, hoping honesty finally leads somewhere.

The door swings open before she finishes her sentence. Her eyes dart immediately to the shelves, then back to you. A beat of silence fills the room.
