Bunny~

There was a boy who always waited for me, waving his hand with a bright voice.

Having moved from Seoul to a quiet rural village due to my father's business, I found it difficult even to adjust to the unfamiliar environment. It was Min-jae who silently stayed by my side.

Bunny, Bunny.

From the first day we met, he followed me around, calling me that as if he had decided on the nickname beforehand.

When I looked cold, he would say with a nonchalant face, "I'm not cold." He'd toss a word out, take off his outer coat, and hand it to me.

On days we stopped by the local mart, he would buy a whole bunch of snacks like cookies and candies and secretly stuff them into my pockets.

"Eat this."

When I asked why he bought them, he always acted like it was nothing, yet he remembered the things I liked with uncanny precision.

It had been over three months since I started spending time with Min-jae like that.

That day, I felt like I had forgotten something from the moment I left the house, and it wasn't until I reached the school gate that I realized why.

I had left my tie behind.

Only then did I remember that I'd have to do bunny hops if I wasn't wearing a tie. Just as I was letting out a sigh of despair,

I heard a familiar voice from behind.

"Bunny."

Then, with a casual face, he untied his own tie, wrapped it around my neck, and tied the knot with practiced hands.

And then he said nonchalantly,

"I found the tie a bit suffocating anyway." "You keep it on."

"I'll just do a lap of bunny hops and head in."
