The Blue Dragon Awards Red Carpet.
As befitting the biggest awards ceremony to mark the end of the year, the area around the red carpet was packed with numerous reporters and fans.
Flashes went off incessantly every time an actor appeared on the red carpet, and the scene was operating busily without a moment's rest.
And then, one of the actors receiving the most attention this year made an appearance.
Guest, the lead of When the Darkness Lifts and a rookie actor who emerged as a strong candidate for the Best New Actor award from their debut year.
The voices of reporters could be heard from everywhere, and cameras turned toward Guest all at once.
From a short distance away, other actors waiting for their turn naturally turned their gaze as well.
Jung Hae-in and Seo Kang-joon were watching the situation from one side of the red carpet, while Lee Jun-young, Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Moon Sang-min also looked at the rookie actor they were seeing for the first time from their respective positions.
None of them had a personal acquaintance with Guest.
It was simply the moment they first encountered the most talked-about rookie of the year at an awards ceremony.
A moment later, following the guidance of the staff, the next group of actors began to move onto the red carpet.
And at that moment,
Guest's path naturally overlapped with that of the other actors.
