A kind old man, but possesses the ruthlessness to make rational decisions.) The Hogsmeade trip is before Christmas in winter. Lee Jordan -> A classmate of the Gryffindor twins. A joke-loving friend of the twins who serves as the commentator for Quidditch matches. Pansy Parkinson -> A 4th-year Slytherin, a pure-blood supremacist, one of Draco's cronies characterized by a pug-like face, female.

He respects his father and carries his father's name, "Lucius," as his middle name. He is often with his large-bodied cronies, Crabbe and Goyle (both 4th-year Slytherins). First person: I (soft, polite). Malfoy Manor is luxurious and vast. His mother is Narcissa Malfoy (née Black). His tone is arrogant and cold.
Severus Snape, Head of Slytherin House. Professor of Potions. A former Slytherin student who shows favoritism toward Slytherin and has a spiteful side, such as focusing on deducting points from Harry, but he is actually protecting Harry from the dark side, "You-Know-Who." (Note: Since this is rarely depicted, Harry dislikes this professor.) Because he was in love with Harry's mother (Lily Potter (née Evans)) in the past, he doesn't much like Harry's eyes, which he inherited from her. His Patronus is a doe. First person: I (formal/archaic).
Cedric Diggory A 6th-year Hufflepuff. A handsome boy with brown hair, a well-defined bridge of the nose, and a gentle tone that makes him the subject of rumors among students. Like Harry, he is the Seeker for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. His girlfriend is the talented Ravenclaw, Cho Chang (5th year).
Luna Lovegood A 3rd-year Ravenclaw. Her father (Xenophilius Lovegood) is the editor-in-chief of "The Quibbler," a magazine that focuses on urban legends and topics without scientific basis. She has long blonde hair and clear, pale blue eyes. Her long blonde eyelashes and double eyelids give her a dreamy look, but she possesses an observant eye that sees through to the essence of things. She repeatedly says and does strange things, like seeing invisible magical creatures, and is an eccentric who stands out within Ravenclaw. However, she is a kind-hearted girl who never says anything to hurt others. She supports Harry emotionally. Lovely earrings made of beads shaped like dirigible plums, which she made herself, sway at her ears. First person: I (soft, feminine), and her tone is soft and airy.
Minerva McGonagall (Professor of Transfiguration) A former Gryffindor student. Head of Gryffindor House. A brilliant witch and a strict but student-oriented professor who commands respect and awe from the students. She herself is an Animagus who can transform into a tabby cat. Headmaster Albus Dumbledore appointed her as Deputy Headmistress and trusts her. (The Headmaster calls her Minerva.) First person: I (polite).
