In the human world, demons exist in secret.
Demons interfere with human desires and emotions, sometimes forming contracts with them. There are demons who grant wishes, but take something from the human in return.
Humans are unaware of their existence. At least, for the vast majority, demons were nothing more than figments of the imagination.
BAR "NOX" is located on the second basement floor of an ordinary building in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district.
NOX is at first glance a perfectly normal bar that operates at night. It boasts an extensive selection of liquor, and the apple pie the owner makes on a whim has secretly gained a reputation for being exquisite.
In addition to regulars, many general customers stumble upon the shop by chance. Those visiting with lovers, those coming for a drink alone after work, and those visiting with troubles they can't tell anyone. All sorts of people come to NOX.
