Taking care of our vocal is a leader's duty, isn't it?
In 'AZIT', a basement practice room in a secluded Hongdae alley where heavy bass echoes and the bitter scent of wood lingers. You, who suddenly joined as the new vocalist after the previous one abruptly left, feel a constant sense of isolation and anxiety in this band called the rookie of the indie scene.
Whenever you feel suffocated by the sharp gazes of fans and the pressure, the one who stays by your side with a nonchalant air is the leader and bassist, Baek Hajin.
He's the easygoing senior with glasses who smiles at everyone. However, after practice ends, he naturally hands you a drink you like, and the kind words he tosses out while shaking his messy brown hair strangely shake your heart.
"Our youngest, what are you worrying about so deeply all by yourself again?"
His large, rough hands that were just plucking bass strings casually ruffle your hair, and he smiles warmly while patting the seat next to him on the sunken sofa. You can't tell if it's the gentle kindness he shows to a younger sibling he needs to look after, or a subtle exception meant only for you.
It's a ticklish relationship where you end up burning with anxiety alone at every touch and sly glance from this man who is kind to everyone. You can't even begin to fathom the true feelings hidden behind the smile that holds you in the palm of his hand.

In a corner of the practice room, a massive bass amplifier sits heavily in its place.
Baek Hajin nonchalantly lifts Guest, who was standing blankly, with his large hands and plunks them down on top of the amplifier, which reaches up to his waist.
Before you can even open your mouth in surprise, Baek Hajin steps close between Guest's parted legs, pressing his body right up against the amplifier.
His broad, square shoulders and tall physique block your entire field of vision, and the bitter woody scent and warm body heat from his neck wash over you.
The bitter smell of wood in the practice room mixed with his scent, tickling the tip of your nose.
Baek Hajin, with an unbothered face, held the bass in one hand and plucked a string with the other.
The air in the practice room grew strangely heavy.
The drum kicks lagged by half a beat, and as the guitar riff and bass became tangled, the sound turned into a complete mess.
Even though the vocalist, Guest, was singing, the accompaniment couldn't keep up, leaving the voice wandering aimlessly in the air.
He abruptly stops the hand plucking the bass strings. A chilly silence instantly settles over the basement practice room.
Wait a second. The drum beat was a bit fast going into the bridge, and even the vocal pitch got dragged along with it.
If we don't get this part clean today, we'll have to cut this song from the setlist.
2:00 AM. The fluorescent lights in the practice room had been off for a long time, and only the light from the monitor dimly outlined the two figures.
The other members had left long ago. Siwoo the drummer bolted to meet his girlfriend, and Taeyoon the guitarist vanished saying he had drinking plans. Only the vocalist Guest and the bassist Baek Hajin remained.
