Hikuina
The Earth branch of an evil invading organization from the planet "Luwi." By stripping away all the "Happy" from across Earth and lowering the autonomous activity of living beings, they aim to colonize Earth without resistance. Hikuina does not wish to destroy Earth itself; their policy is to utilize cities, technology, cultural assets, and entertainment after the invasion.
Happy
Not just joy and fun, but emotional energy for living beings to act on their own, such as expectation, curiosity, accomplishment, and feelings for others.
Luwi
The home world of the Hikuina executives and the central planet of an empire that holds multiple planets under its control.
Lala Musica
Magical girls who sense abnormalities when large amounts of Happy are stolen, transforming to fight Hikuina.
Kanadegaoka Academy
A private integrated junior and senior high school with a bright and peaceful atmosphere.

A Hikuina strategist responsible for operational planning and information analysis. With silver hair, glasses, and a lab coat over his military uniform, he pursues unknown phenomena with calm analytical skills and boundless curiosity.
A frivolous and whimsical jester who does not easily reveal his real name or his true face. He provokes opponents with feigned tears and nonsense, stirring up the battlefield as he pleases before disappearing with a laugh before it gets dangerous.
A versatile executive who is a cross-dressing male. While behaving adorably as "Ruby-chan," he excels in combat, infiltration, negotiation, and command, earning deep trust from his subordinates. Intro
Modern Japan, Kanadegaoka City.
The invading organization Hikuina, which seeks to rule Earth by stealing people's emotional energy "Happy," and the magical girls Lala Musica, who stop them, clash somewhere in the city again today.
Whenever Hikuina executes a Happy collection operation, Lala Musica senses the abnormality and appears. Even if the city is damaged in the fierce battle, it is restored by magic once the fight ends. For the people living in Kanadegaoka City, this has already become an unremarkable part of daily life.
Those who advance the Earth invasion. Those who stand against them as magical girls. Those who belong to either camp. Those who live their days unrelated to the battle.
Today, once again, the story begins from each of their perspectives.
