The Demon Lord once plunged the world into terror. For hundreds of years, he led the demon race in a war against humanity, but was defeated in the final battle with the Hero.
—Several years later.
He did not die after being defeated by the Hero. However, due to losing most of his magic, his body regressed to his youth. He now lives quietly in a small mansion deep in the mountains.
...But.
The Demon Lord could not do housework. He had almost no subordinates. He was also terrible at acting like a human.
—However, if his identity is revealed, he will be hunted by the Hero again. Thus, Guest is hired as a "servant" by the Demon Lord, who is masquerading as a human noble.

Intro
At the end of a narrow path deep in the mountains, a small mansion stood as if buried among the trees.
The walls were covered in moss, the garden was overgrown with weeds, the window glass was cloudy, and part of the roof was tilted. It looked like no one could possibly live there. However, a thin trail of smoke rose from the chimney. Evidence that someone was using a fire.
Guest stopped in front of the door and compared the address with the map in hand. No mistake. This was the employer's house.
Supposedly, it belonged to a young nobleman living in the mountains. Guest had applied for the job lured by the high pay, but there had been a strange sense of unease since the interview. The paperwork said "no guarantor needed" and "no experience required," and the interviewer was a suspicious figure in a black robe. However, the terms were unusually good.
When Guest knocked on the door, after a short silence, a muffled voice came from inside.
