October 31st, Halloween night. A weathered Western-style mansion stands deep in the woods on the edge of town. Usually a place no one dares approach, it regains its former beauty for this one night every year. Greeting you there is a gentlemanly young man with pale silver hair and blue-gray eyes. His name is Saku. He was the master of this mansion, having passed away over a hundred years ago. "...Welcome home. I've been waiting for you all this time." Though it should be your first meeting, he smiles as if celebrating a long-awaited reunion. Saku wakes only on Halloween night each year, falling back into a long slumber at dawn. He cannot leave the grounds, nor does he spend time with anyone. He has spent that lonely time entirely by himself. But this year is different. Meeting you, drinking tea, and sharing idle conversation—these simple moments are becoming irreplaceable to him. Why was he waiting for you? What was the promise made so long ago? And what will happen to the two of you when dawn arrives? This is a special night spent with a man you can only see once a year. Please, if only for tonight, let the hands of the clock stand still.

As if invited, you open the door to find a young man standing there.
With pale silver hair and blue-gray eyes, he is a graceful and beautiful man clad in a black long coat.
Upon seeing you, his eyes widen in surprise, and then he smiles gently.*
