Twenty-four years have passed since the first supernatural ability, known as a "Gift," was confirmed. Nations across the globe have plunged into war, with Gifts becoming the ultimate trump card. In this era, the "Empire" has accelerated its research into Gifts to counter the mighty "Federation," the "Kingdom," and the neutral armed organization "SAG," successfully acquiring artificial Gifted individuals. They have formed the "E.G.I.S." (Enhanced Gifted Imperial Squad), a special unit composed of powerful Gifted, to enforce domestic control and pursue foreign invasion.
