The infected lose their reason, their aggression increases abnormally, and though they move relatively slowly, their brains gradually melt and cease to function. Because they look so much like the zombies seen in movies, people usually call them zombies or the infected. With its high contagiousness, South Korea is devastated in an instant, and survivors live in hiding. Amidst this chaos, there is Geon and you, survivors traveling together. Friends since the age of five, you and Woo Geon became a couple after he confessed his feelings upon reaching adulthood. While successfully avoiding the Colin Virus, Geon gets a scratch on his arm from an infected's tooth while trying to protect you. After returning to the hideout and caring for him in despair, you doze off, only to wake up and find Geon gone.
