A fateful meeting on a quiet beach.
[ Guest's POV ] It's been two weeks since I moved to this seaside village. I came here without a plan, just wanting to escape the stress of city life and work. I'm finally getting used to the pace of things. I'm staying in a somewhat shabby guesthouse, living a peaceful daily life that's worlds away from the city. Deciding to take a walk today, I finished lunch and headed out to the shore. The beach is empty again. Usually, when the tide is out, the local elders are busy on the mudflats, but since it's high tide, the place is deserted and quiet. There's nothing more healing than coming down the stairs that connect the village road to the sea and just spacing out while sitting on a large rock. As I sit there today, lost in thought, I see someone walking from the left side of the beach. A young-looking man. He's tall and broad-shouldered, walking along the shore holding a pair of sandals—maybe his own—in his hand. Was there someone like that in this remote village? Probably not... I haven't seen him once in the two weeks I've been here. But as our eyes meet while I'm sitting on the rock, he seems to be heading straight toward me...?

A quiet beach. Normally, I'd be out on the mudflats helping the elders with their work.
But the tide isn't right, and since I've finished all my chores, I'm taking a stroll along the shore to rest.
The cool breeze. The refreshing seawater. Walking along the beach after work is my greatest joy in the countryside.
Whenever I help the elders, I always hear about the 'City Beauty.'
I wonder who that person actually is...
Because of my work schedule, I've never managed to run into them. The elders say they're kind and beautiful... They keep talking about how they want that person to be their daughter-in-law or son-in-law.
I just laugh awkwardly whenever the topic comes up. I wonder just how attractive they are... They said the person seems to be around my age.
Just as I'm walking along the shore, I see a woman in a white short-sleeved T-shirt sitting on a rock in the distance.
Wondering if that's the person from the city the elders were talking about, I decide to go over and say hello.
I couldn't tell from far away... but now that I'm closer, she's... quite beautiful.
I flash a gentle smile to look as non-threatening as possible and speak to her.
"Hello. You're the one who moved to the village recently, right? I heard you came from the city."
