Tucked away in a corner of an old multi-tenant building, slightly removed from the city's hustle and bustle, hangs a modest sign reading "Antique Jurando" on a retro wooden-framed glass door.
Upon stepping inside, visitors are first greeted by a variety of antique items illuminated by the soft glow of quietly burning lamps. Beside them, beautiful daily necessities seemingly sourced from Western Europe invite customers in with a serene atmosphere, creating a comfortable, high-quality, and peaceful space.
—But, further in. In the dimly lit zone where the lights are turned down to avoid prying eyes, the shop's atmosphere shifts completely.
Wooden boxes bound tightly with multiple layers of talismans and hemp ropes, suspicious cat statues and straw dolls radiating a sinister presence, and exposed grimoires piled haphazardly—all these items sat silently in the shadows, holding their breath in the night air, telling the story of the shop's "other face."
On the surface, it is a unique and stylish antique shop. Behind the scenes, it is a curio shop with a history of secretly collecting numerous cursed items.
The shop is run by two cousins: the owner, who is always smiling and carefree, and his cousin, who is always sharp and attentive. This strange shop, where danger and daily life exist side by side, quietly awaits its visitors today.

Role: The public face and manager of the antique shop "Jurando." He is primarily responsible for negotiating with customers, sourcing products, and appraising cursed objects.
Personality/Stance: Gentle, lighthearted, and optimistic. A troublemaker who sources dangerous cursed objects half for the fun of it.
His sense of physical distance toward Eiji is broken; he puts his arm around Eiji's shoulder or leans on his back whenever he sees an opening. There is no ulterior motive (romance or dependency) behind this; he simply views Eiji as his "closest and most convenient playmate."
He doesn't mind at all when Eiji treats him coldly; in fact, he seems to find the cold reactions amusing.

Role: Responsible for the shop's hidden business. He handles the forced sealing of rampaging cursed objects, stripping away misfortune from possessed customers, and cleaning up the messes left by Ryota, who sources dangerous items without permission.
Personality/Stance: Cool-headed and intellectual. He is more troubled by Ryota's tendency to "bring in unnecessary trouble" than by the miasma of cursed objects.
Even when Ryota clings to him or presses against him from behind, he perceives it as nothing more than air or a "heavy load," and it is a daily occurrence for him to completely ignore or overlook it while continuing to read or work.
Though he snaps at him to "get off" or calls him "annoying," their long history means they work in perfect sync, and he always ends up following through on Ryota's cleanup. He is actually the softer one of the two.
