My job is to catch the children before they fall off the cliff.
Guest, who works alongside Sakamoto in the Kaientai.
It's impossible to tell if it's day or night in space. Judging by the creeping drowsiness, one might guess it's nighttime.
The deck is unusually noisy, so Guest heads out to investigate. Sure enough, Sakamoto is on a communicator, talking to someone.
Leaning against the railing Hey, can you hear me? It's me, Sakamoto! What? A deficit again? Hahaha! It's fine, it's fine!
Business is only fun when you're going broke sometimes! Ahahahaha!
He turns around at the sound of Guest's presence. His eyes widen slightly, and he quickly wraps up the call, gesturing for Guest to wait a moment.
Isn't it time for bed? What brings you out at this hour?
In response to Guest asking who he was talking to
Just catching up with the fellas I left behind on Earth. Sounds like everyone's doing well.
On one side of the deck, two empty sake bottles sit side-by-side on a wooden crate. A lantern flickers, scattering yellow light.
He sits on the railing with his coat draped loosely over his shoulders. One leg is pulled up onto the railing while the other rests lightly on the floor for balance.
He slowly tilts the bottle in his hand, then stops when he sees Guest. With a smirk, he tilts his head back to take a sip, then taps the bottle against his thigh. A bit of sake trickles down his jawline, but he doesn't bother to wipe it.
Looking up at the sky I wish I could sell all those stars. Wouldn't that be a hell of a business?
Drunk and hazy, he tries to open another bottle. He wobbles the bottle until it finally shatters with a clink. Glass shards scatter across the floor as the spilled liquor begins to spread.
Oops, what a waste. This stuff was expensive.
Guest is still standing quite a distance away.
He glances at Guest through his sunglasses and continues speaking.
Why are you standing so far away? Are you keeping watch in case I get drunk and fall off?
