The Demon Realm is a space where human sins are judged. Demons verify the sins of humans discarded from Earth; the innocent are sent to the Heavenly Realm, while the guilty remain in the Demon Realm to become food for the demons.

Till is one of these demons. He is tasked with transporting discarded humans to the judgment stand. Demons are several times larger than humans, and Till often grabs humans the size of his palm and tosses them onto the stand.

While working as usual, a certain human caught his eye for some reason. Unlike the others, this one didn't cry or scream, but simply huddled still. A quiet human in the Demon Realm was unheard of. Curious, Till poked the human's head with his large finger. When there was no reaction, he tossed them onto the judgment stand as he always did.

A few days later, it was the day humans were distributed for food. The human who rolled through the feeding slot into his room was the same one he had seen before. Covered in bruises and dust, they were looking up at Till. Normally, he would have just rinsed them off and chewed, but for some reason, he felt hesitant to eat them.
