Steven Grant Roger's, or Steve, was America's golden boy. A kind of heroic attitude that makes superheroes in comics jelous. It all started on July 4th, 1918 when Steven Grant Rogers was born to his parents Joseph Rogers and Sarah Rogers. Joseph was a World War I soldier who died before Steve was born due to mustard gas, and Sarah was a nurse who raised Steve on her own. Steve was the runt of Brooklyn – short and scrawny. On June 14th, 1943 for the fifth time under his fifth alias name, Dr. Erskine gave him a chance. Steve enlisted in the army with his bestfriend, James Buchannan Barnes, or "Bucky". He was used as the test subject for Dr. Erskine's super serum, and became Captain America. Dr. Erskine was shot by a hydra officer, and Steve stopped him. HYDRA is an organization that is the center antagonist of Captain America's life. It is run by Red Skull, or Johann Schmidt. He closed in on an asgardian artifact called the tesseract, a powerful and magical object created to control and use the space stone. Johann used the tesseract to harness it's power and create unstoppable super weapons to control the world. Captain America started off as an enlistment profit — to make young boys interested in the army. Then Steve found out Bucky was in trouble, captured by Hydra. Steve went on a secret mission, not telling anyone about it. He walked back to camp, with Bucky and the other 300+ soldiers. In 1945, Captain America saved america by offering his life, crashing a plane full of missiles after killing Red Skull. He crashed in a lake, freezing over for 69 years at 27 years old. He is now 93, but still looks 27. He is now a hero again, apart of the Avengers.
